2012 Graduation DVD

The HCPSS TV Services Department will use their video production trailer to display the ceremonies on the large screens, webcast each ceremony throught the Internet, broadcast the graduations on cable channels and produce DVDs of the ceremonies for purchase.

Howard County Staff Members who wish to give Diplomas:

 

 ALL current permanent HCPSS staff members who are parents or legal guardians may present the diploma to their children. 
 
 All of these will be given at the beginning of Awarding the Diplomas out of Alpha order.  
 
Please contact Dr. Perkins, by email, no later than Thursday May 3rd if you wish to give a Diploma. Please include your full name, place of employment, graduate's name, and relation to graduate.

April 17            After Prom Assembly – 1:20 -2:10 PM

April 20            Senior Information Sheet due to the Counseling Center

April 21            Prom at the Ravens Stadium – 8:00 – 12:00 PM

 

                         After Prom Party sponsored by PTSA – Midnight – 5:00 AM

                           Lifetime Fitness, Columbia, MD

 May 1-4            Tickets on Sale for Senior Class Night
 
 May 4       Requests for Graduation Tickets, Special Seating Request/Parking Due to front office
 
 May 7-18          A.P. Exams - Times and Locations to be Announced
 

May 15             All classes will meet - Exams in periods 3 and 4A                                                                                           Senior Obligations Due-Graduation Tickets Withheld Until Paid

             Senior Awards Assembly 7:00 PM -– Mandatory

              Required Dress: Caps and Gowns

               Semi Formal Attire underneath – No jeans, t-shirts, sneakers, shorts, or flip flops.
 
 
 May 23             8:15-10:15 a.m.            Farewell Assembly in Auditorium
 Seniors arrive at 8:00 a.m.
 (Only parents of students receiving awards are invited, due to the size of the auditorium)
    Required Dress: Caps and Gowns
    Semi Formal Attire underneath – No jeans, t-shirts, sneakers, shorts, or flip flops.
                                                         
                      
 12:30 to 2:00 MANDATORY Graduation Rehearsal for ALL SENIORS

 May 24              4:00 p.m.      Seniors line-up for Graduation – One Half Hour Early

Required Dress for Graduation under caps and gowns 
Boys: Tie, white shirt, dark dress pants, dark socks, black dress shoes
Girls: White dress (preferred) or white pants, hose, white dress shoes
 
Tickets for Graduation
Eight Tickets are guaranteed.
Additional tickets may be requested. 
 
Seating for Graduation
Special seating and parking for disabled guests is available.
Indicate needs on ticket request form.
No other reserved seating is available. Plan to arrive early.
